Most of the people like pop music, forty per cent of the people like reggae, 30 per cent of the people listen to metal music, and just a few of them like ska, punk, reggae...

interview to Bruce Dickinson

Today we are going to make a interview to Bruce Dickinson, is an English musician, airline pilot, and broadcaster. He is best known as the lead singer of the heavy metal band Iron Maiden and is renowned for his wide-ranging operatic vocal style and energetic stage presence. This is a inveted iterview, made for a school work.

Markel:When did you start listening to metal music?
Bruce:And what groups? I have been started very young listening to metal music, groups like the beatles, deep purple and black sabbath

Markel:How did you meet Iron Maiden?

Bruce:I went to audition for Iron Maiden at a rehearsal room in Hackney in September 1981 and immediately discovered that this was a much more professional operation than I was using with Samson. In the practise rooms, the band played through "Prowler", "Sanctuary", "Running Free" and "Remember Tomorrow", before asking me to sing the same songs again in a recording studio, and I was immediately inducted into the group.

Markel:Did you listen to Iron Maiden before they asked you?

Bruce:While fronting the band, I also came across Iron Maiden for the first time, who were supporting Samson at the Music Machine in 1980. As I recall; "I was watching them, and they were good, really fucking good, and at that moment, I remember thinking, 'I wanna fucking sing for that band. In fact, I'm going to sing for that band! Iknow I'm going to sing for that band!' ... I just thought, 'This is really me. Not Samson.

Markel:And why did you enter for a 2nd time?

Bruce:Along with Adrian Smith, I rejoined Iron Maiden in 1999 with Janick Gers remaining in the band, after I was approached by manager Rod Smallwood. Smallwood also spoke to Steve Harris about my return, who initially had reservations about the prospect, but soon came round to the idea, deliberating that they knew of his abilities and that it was a case of "better the devil you know". Harris and me agreed to meet at Smallwood's home in Brighton in January 1999 for the first conversation we would have with each other since 1993. Although we were nervous about the encounter, upon seeing each other the tension immediately dissipated and we agreed that I should return to the group.

Markel:Why did you decided to retire?
Bruce:After the Fear of the Dark Tour, I decided to leave Iron Maiden to concentrate on his solo career. At that point the band had already booked a following tour in 1993, which me did not enjoy. Throughout the tour, I drew a lot of criticism from his band mates, with Steve Harris in particular saying, "I really wanted to kill him." According to Harris, I would only perform when the press was there, whereas at other concerts I would only mumble my way through songs. I has since denied the accusations that he was deliberately under-performing, arguing that it was impossible to give a decent performance some nights because of the atmosphere.

Markel:Was it hard to go to treatment instead of recording an album?

Bruce:Really it wasn't it, the doctors detected my cancer very early, and that permitted heal it in few weeks.

Markel:Are you planning to release another CD?

Bruce:I dont know, I think that the best for the band is to make world tours. We could record another album, and I would like to record it, but I'm really excited with the actual tour "The Book of Souls world tour", and I think to make another 2 tours before recording a new and the last album.

Markel:When do you think you will retire?

Bruce:After to record the last album, mentioned in the previous question, I thin to make as many tours as we can. There it is when we really enjoy it.

Mr. Bean's Holiday

Mr. Bean's Holiday is a 2007 British comedy film, directed by Steve Bendelack. It is the second film based on the television series Mr. Bean, following the 1997 Bean. The film was theatrically released on 24 March 2007 by Universal Pictures.

This is a film that i liked much, I laughed a lot with it during the film, not only in some parts likein other films. The history of the film is a bit low, but doesn't matter, in a comedy film tha importans have the dialogue, and in that sence the film is awesome. It  isn't a very good silent film, in  the sence that most of laughs came from the rubber face, wide eyes, and clueless behavior of the talented actor Rowan atkinson.

As a conclusion, the history is not very good, and some times is a bit repetitive, personaly i laughed a lot, and in a comedy film is that what is important. In the aspect of cast, Rowan is very good actor, in spite of the dificulty of the character bean. I rate this film with a cery good mark, which is 8,5.

This is the cast of the film: Rowan Atkinson as Mr. Bean, Emma de Caunes as Sabine, Max Baldry as Stepan Dachevsky, Willem Dafoe as Carson Clay, Jean Rochefort as the maître d'hôtel, Karel Roden as Emil Dachevsky, Catherine Hosmalin as Ticket Inspector, Urbain Cancelier as Bus driver. Julie Ferrier as The First AD, Steve Pemberton as The Vicar.
